Who we are...
Established in 1949, we pride ourselves in setting trends, being creative and confident in our approach and are proud to offer a first class level of service in design, manufacture and installation across all of our products and services.
Back in the summer of 1949, our company was founded by Messrs Bob Elliott & Percy Marshall. Elliott & Marshall became reknowned for their innovation in the screenprint industry and were the pioneers of the ever popular 'Day-Glo' posters that you will still see now. The company became known for its detailed and varied work for TV Series such as Wycliffe and the printing of the incredibly popular "Kernow" stickers.
Several years on and several proprietors later, the company (then known as E&M Signs or Elliott Marshall) was purchased in 2007 by the Jenkin family, who made significant investment into new machinery and the addition of over a dozen jobs to date. In 2009, the company expanded into new premises to celebrate its 60th birthday and to coincide with the new image of the company - we re-branded into the company you see today - Cornwall Signs.
Today, with our enthusiastic team of designers, sign makers, carpenters, electricians and installers, we are proud to service some of the largest organisations in the UK. Our Design team are all confident in both the Adobe & Corel suites, our Manufacture team hold or are working towards the Sign Making Diploma (formerly NVQ) and our Installation team are all CSCS registered.
Just as Bob Elliott said in 1949 - "You see our work everyday"
